Summary
Tattooing or body piercing; penalty. Increases
the penalty for tattooing or body piercing minors without parental
consent or without medical supervision and for tattooing or body piercing
without complying with health and safety requirements and disclosure
provisions from a Class 2 misdemeanor to a Class 1 misdemeanor. The
criminal provisions will apply only to someone who performs such services
for hire or consideration. Currently the Class 1 misdemeanor applies
only to a second violation of the statute.
