Summary

Dealing drugs and causing a death. Punishes a person who commits a violation of § 18.2-248 (sale or distribution or manufacture of controlled substances) that results in the death of another with a sentence of 10 years to life and a fine of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 and, for a second offense, a sentence of 20 years to life and a $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 fine and, for a third or subsequent offense, a sentence of 20 years to life with a mandatory minimum of 20 years plus an $8,000,000 to $20,000,000 fine.   View Full Text »
