Description

Practice of naturopathy. Establishes licensure requirements for the practice of naturopathy. This bill establishes criteria for the practice naturopathy, including educational requirements, examinations, scope of practice, requirements for the promulgation of regulations governing the profession, and an advisory board to the Board of Medicine. Amends § 54.1-2900 (“Definitions.”), § 54.1-2901 (“Exceptions and exemptions generally.”), § 54.1-2914 (“Sale of controlled substances and medical devices or appliances; requirements for vision care services.”), § 54.1-3401 (“Definitions.”), of the Code of Virginia.
