Description
Housing authorities; public hearings. Requires housing authorities to hold at least one public hearing to receive the views of citizens within the area of operation of the housing authority before giving final approval to its budget for submission to the governing body. Amends § 36-19.2 (“Powers limited by necessity for authority from or approval by governing body; public hearing on proposed budget.”), of the Code of Virginia. View Full Text »
