Summary
Litter control and recycling grants. Changes the
formula for allocating litter control and recycling grants. The bill would increase
the percentage of grants awarded to localities from the current 75% to 90%. The
20% of grants allocated to statewide and regional litter prevention recycling
educational programs will be reduced to 5% and will be awarded to localities
and nonprofits for litter prevention and recycling. Up to 5% of the litter
prevention and recycling grants will be allocated for administrative expenses. View Full Text »
