Description

Special license plates; clean special fuel vehicles. Requires that, to be eligible for clean special fuel license plates, a vehicle must produce lower emissions of oxides of nitrogen, volatile organic compounds, carbon monoxide or particulates, or any combination thereof than a comparable vehicle powered by conventional gasoline or reformulated gasoline and have a fuel economy rating of not less than 50 miles per gallon.
