Summary

Definition of "maintenance" in Title 33.1; Revenue Sharing Fund; Unpaved Secondary Road Fund.  Provides that the term "maintenance" includes chipping and sealing of unpaved roads in the state secondary highway system.  The bill also increases the amount of funds allocated through the Revenue Sharing Fund from no more than $50 million per year to no less than $50 million per year and eliminates the requirement for any local match.  It also increases the portion of total funds available for highway construction that is set aside for paving dirt roads from 5.67% to 10%.   View Full Text »
