Summary
Mandatory reporting of child abuse and neglect by eligibility
workers. Requires any person employed by a local department of social
services who determines eligibility for public assistance to report suspected
child abuse or neglect to the local department or the Department of Social
Services' toll-free child abuse and neglect hotline. The bill is effective on
January 1, 2007 and the Department of Social Services must provide training to
