Summary
Education; Internet safety instruction. Adds to the
acceptable Internet use policies developed by the division superintendents a
requirement that such policies include a component on Internet safety for
students that is integrated in a division's instructional program. The measure
contains an enactment clause providing that within 45 days of the enactment of
the act, the Superintendent of Public Instruction must issue a superintendent's
memorandum advising school divisions of the provisions in the act and encourage
cooperation with local law enforcement agencies in its implementation. View Full Text »
