Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  § 1. Special license plates for spouses and parents of certain deceased military veterans.

On receipt of an application and following the provisions of § 46.2-725 of the Code of Virginia and written evidence that the applicant is a spouse or parent of a military veteran who was killed while on active duty and engaged in performance of his official duties, the Commissioner of the Department of Motor Vehicles shall issue special license plates to the applicant.
