Summary

Virginia Military Family Relief Fund; contribution of tax refund; report.  Establishes the Virginia Military Family Relief Fund, a special nonreverting fund to assist Virginia members of the armed services who have been called to active duty and to assist their families with living expenses. The Fund will be administered by the Office of The Adjutant General. The Adjutant General will report annually to the Governor and the chairmen of the House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees. The bill also includes the Fund on the list of entities eligible to appear on the Virginia tax return for voluntary tax refund contributions.   View Full Text »
