Description
Performance and payment bonds. Increases the amount of required bid, payment, and performance bonds from $100,000 to $250,000 for transportation-related projects that are partially or wholly funded by the Commonwealth. For payment bonds for such projects, the amount is whatever is satisfactory to the public body. Amends § 2.2-4336 (“Bid bonds.”), § 2.2-4337 (“Performance and payment bonds.”), of the Code of Virginia. View Full Text »
