Summary

Crimes; possession of marijuana; penalty.  Makes the first offense of possession of marijuana a Class 1 misdemeanor and deprives the juvenile found delinquent or so convicted of the privilege to drive for one year. Currently, the penalty for the first offense is an unclassified misdemeanor and carries a maximum penalty of 30 days in jail and a $500 fine, and, in the case of a juvenile, the loss of driving privileges for six months.   View Full Text »
