Description
Grandfathering unlined landfills. Allows landfills operating under a permit issued prior to March 15, 1993, to continue to accept trash until reaching their vertical limit only if the landfill has not closed or ceased accepting waste after October 9, 1993. Currently there is no requirement that the grandfathered area of the landfill be in continuous use since October 1993 to accept waste. Read the Bill »
