Description

Practice of law, legal entities. Allows persons who are legally authorized to practice law in Virginia but who are not active members of the Virginia State Bar to be members of a professional corporation, professional limited liability company or registered limited liability partnership that renders professional legal services in the Commonwealth. Under current law only active members of the Virginia State Bar may practice law in Virginia through a limited liability entity. This bill is identical to SB 482. Read the Bill »
