Description

Sex Offender Registry; automatic notification. Requires the State Police to notify any school or child-care facility of the registration or reregistration of a sex offender within a 10-mile radius of the facility or school. The Department of Social Services and the Department of Education shall provide the State Police with a list of the locations of all such facilities and schools. The notification will be made via electronic means, unless the facility or school does not have capabilities to receive electronic notification and registers to receive written notification.
