Description
Human Rights Council; private causes of action; commercial real estate. Provides a private cause of action for unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions, or age in the sale or lease of commercial real estate not covered by the Fair Housing Law ( 36-96.1 et seq.). The bill provides for the shifting of the burden of proof to the person charged with the violation after establishment of the prima facie case. The bill contains technical amendments. Read the Bill »
