Description
Sentencing guideline modifications. Requires the advice and consent of the General Assembly before any modification to the discretionary sentencing guidelines proposed in the Sentencing Commission's annual report becomes effective. Currently, the Commission's modifications automatically become effective on the next July 1 unless otherwise provided by law. Read the Bill »
