Summary

Immunization of children against certain diseases.  Sets out the minimum requirements for the immunization of children for the State Board to include in their regulations. The requirements bring the Commonwealth in line with the Immunization Schedule developed and published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. The bill also requires the State Board of Health to review the section annually and make recommendations to the Governor, the General Assembly, and the Joint Commission on Health Care. The bill is contingent on funding.   View Full Text »
