Summary

Community Integration Advisory Commission.  Establishes the Community Integration Advisory Commission to monitor the progress toward community integration of Virginians with disabilities by all executive branch state agencies. The Commission consists of 21 nonlegislative citizen members who have or represent persons with disabilities and service providers for such persons. The Commission is required to monitor the implementation of state and federal laws pertaining to community integration of persons with disabilities and make appropriate recommendations to the Governor relative to the community integration of Virginians with disabilities.   View Full Text »
