Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Title 63.2 a chapter numbered 9.1, consisting of sections numbered 63.2-913.1 and 63.2-913.2, as follows:

CHAPTER 9.1.
KINSHIP CARE.

§ 63.2-913.1. Kinship care placement.

Kinship care placement shall include placement of a child with relatives by a court pursuant to Chapter 11 of Title 16.1 (§ 16.1-226 et seq.) and placement by a local department pursuant to § 63.2-900.

§ 63.2-913.2. Services provided.

Children placed in kinship care and the relatives with whom they are placed shall be eligible for all services provided under Chapter 9 (§ 63.2-900 et seq.).
