Summary
Preservation of order at elections. Provides that the
local electoral board or general registrar, rather than the officers of
election, may designate, with the consent of the chief local law-enforcement
officer, a law-enforcement officer to maintain order at a polling place; and
deletes a provision for the appointment of special officers at the polling
