Description
Sales and use tax exemption; certain medicines and drugs. Exempts from sales and use tax medicines and drugs (i) used by veterinarians in treating agricultural production animals; (ii) sold to farmers for direct use in producing an agricultural product for market; or (iii) used by a veterinarian for agricultural production animals and dispensed or sold on prescription by the veterinarian. Amends § 58.1-609.10 (“Miscellaneous exemptions.”), § 58.1-609.2 (“Agricultural exemptions.”), of the Code of Virginia. View Full Text »
