Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  § 1. That the Department of Transportation shall not place nor cause to be placed under the Integrated Directional Sign Program (IDSP), administered by the Department, any sign within the boundaries of any county, city, or town whose local governing body requests in writing to the Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner that no such signs be placed within the boundaries of the county, city, or town.
