Summary

Construction and improvement of primary or secondary highways by counties.  Eliminates the requirement that primary and secondary highway improvement projects undertaken by counties be subject to approval of project plans and specifications by VDOT, provided that the county warrants and certifies that the projects were built in conformity with state standards and specifications.  The bill also eliminates the ability of VDOT to recover from counties VDOT's costs of administering contracts for such projects.   View Full Text »
