Summary
General Assembly; prefiling of legislation. Clarifies
that following an election, legislation may be prefiled only by members and
members-elect of the next regular session of the General Assembly. Current law
allows a member of the General Assembly who is retiring or who was not
re-elected to prefile legislation until the convening of the next regular
session of the General Assembly, when his or her term of office expires. View Full Text »
