Summary
Reporting to the Department of Taxation; nonprofit
hospitals. Requires nonprofit hospitals to provide to the Department of
Taxation a copy of any federal 990 or 990-EZ tax form filed with the Internal
Revenue Service. The bill would require nonprofit hospitals to also provide to
the Department a copy of any interim tax forms, reports, or returns filed with
or provided to the Internal Revenue Service. The bill would require all such
returns and information to be provided within 30 days of the same being filed
with or provided to the Internal Revenue Service.
