Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 38.2-3502.1 as follows:

§ 38.2-3502.1. Notice regarding coverage of treatments covered by Medicare.

A. Any individual accident and sickness insurance policy delivered or issued for delivery in this Commonwealth shall have printed on it a notice stating whether the policy provides coverage for all medical treatments that are covered under Parts A and B of the program established under Title XVIII of the Social Security Act, known as Medicare.

B. The requirements of subsection A shall apply to any individual accident and sickness insurance policy delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed in this Commonwealth on or after July 1, 2007.
