Summary

Sex offenses prohibiting proximity to children; penalty.  Broadens the list of sex offenses prohibiting proximity to children to include all offenses of rape, forcible sodomy, and object sexual penetration, not just those involving child victims and in addition, applies those restrictions to the 2006 legislation prohibiting proximity to children on the premises of child day centers, child day programs, as well as schools, and the prohibition against participating in volunteer activities. The bill also extends these prohibitions to public recreation and community centers. Finally, the bill makes several necessary technical transition changes.
