Summary
Interstate Compact for Juveniles. Repeals
the Interstate Compact Relating to Juveniles located in Article 14
(§ 16.1-323 et seq.) of Chapter 11 of Title 16.1 and replaces it with
the current version of the Interstate Compact for Juveniles, which
has already been enacted in 30 states and provides for enhanced accountability,
enforcement, visibility, and communication in relation to tracking
and supervising juveniles moving across state borders.
