Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That § 15.2-2266 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 15.2-2266. Validation of certain plats recorded before January 1, 1975.

Any subdivision plat recorded prior to January 1, 19531975, if otherwise valid, is hereby validated and declared effective even though the technical requirements for recordation existing at the time such plat was recorded were not complied with.
