HB2288: VDOT et al; no regulation can require seperate as-built permits for utility located in certain area.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. No regulation of the Virginia Department of Transportation, the Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner, or the Commonwealth Transportation Board shall require separate "as-built" permits for each utility located within newly dedicated highway right-of-way of any component of the primary or secondary highway system or the Interstate Highway System. At the option of the Department's district administrator, developers shall be permitted to submit recorded composite plats that contain all necessary utility information, coded as required for clarity, and shown for the individual plats of the composite, as opposed to individual plats.
