Summary
Certified Nursing Facility Education Initiative;
use of funds. Requires the Director of the Department of Medical
Assistance Services to establish a Nursing Facility Quality Improvement
Program. This program shall replace the role of nonprofit organizations
in using civil monetary penalty funds collected by the Department
to improve the health, safety, and welfare of residents in nursing
facilities.
