Description
Garnishment summons; claims of exemption. Provides that the garnishee is not required to determine whether any funds held on behalf of a judgment debtor are subject to a claim of exemption. The responsibility to claim any exemption rests with the judgment debtor pursuant to 8.01-512.4. Read the Bill »
