Summary
Driver's licenses issued to persons convicted of driving
under the influence. Prohibits the Department of Motor Vehicles from
issuing or reinstating the driver's license of a person who has been convicted
of driving under the influence or a related offense during the five-year period
following the conviction, unless the person provides proof that he has in
effect a motor vehicle liability insurance policy with limits that are treble
the minimum limits required generally for motor vehicle liability insurance
policies.
