Description

Income tax; in-home health care tax credit. Provides an income tax credit for every individual taxpayer who pays medical and in-home care expenses for family members living with the taxpayer, for taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2008. The amount of the credit is equal to the amount paid for such expenses and that is not reimbursed. The credit will be reduced $1 for every $2 that the taxpayer's federal adjusted gross income exceeds $50,000 for single taxpayers and $75,000 for married taxpayers. Read the Bill »
