Summary

Local employees; right to receive certain benefit information in writing.  Requires localities to provide information about relevant benefit options and programs in writing to any local employee who develops a serious health condition that may be life-threatening. The employer shall provide appropriate forms to the employee so that the employee can communicate any election of benefit options to the employer in writing on the forms.
