Summary

Requirement of lawful immigration status for state determination of legal domicile.  Provides that a person who is not a citizen or legal resident of the United States, or who is without lawful immigration status, shall not be entitled to classification as a resident of the Commonwealth. For all state determinations where legal residence or legal domicile is required by Virginia law, an individual must be a U.S. citizen, or an alien lawfully present within the United States.
