Summary

Crimes; maiming of another resulting from operating a watercraft while intoxicated; penalty.  Makes it a Class 6 felony to operate a watercraft, as defined in § 29.1-712, while intoxicated in violation of § 29.1-738 or any local ordinance substantially similar thereto in a manner so gross, wanton, and culpable as to show a reckless disregard for human life, and to unintentionally cause the serious bodily injury of another person resulting in permanent and significant physical impairment.
