Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That § 32.1-19 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 32.1-19. Duties prescribed by Board.

A. The Commissioner shall perform such duties as the Board may require, in addition to the duties required by law.

B. The Commissioner shall designate a senior staff member of the Department, who shall be a licensed physician, to oversee minority health efforts of the Department.
