Comments
Speaking as an ex-police officer, its about time! These dedicated public servents are required to deal with the most troubled youths in our community. They are required to go to their homes, schools and places of work with no firearm, bullet proof vest, or radios to call for backup. There have been PO's assulted and caught in gun battles. They routinely deal with the growing gang problems our communities face. After reviewing the list of groups who are now included in the VaLORS system, juvenile PO's should be at the top of the list and I ask that all Virginia legislators support this legislation.
