Summary
Elections; voter registration at offices of Department of
Motor Vehicles; evidence of registration. Requires DMV office to forward
completed voter registration applications to elections officials within three,
rather than five, business days. Permits forwarding of applications by
facsimile or electronic means. Allows voter whose name is not on the pollbook
to cast his ballot at the polling place, rather than by a provisional ballot,
if he presents proof of timely registration at a DMV office and completes a
registration application at the polling place.
