Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 46.2-649.1:2 as follows:

§ 46.2-649.1:2. Registration of certain taxicabs.

Every taxicab registered in another state that is regularly parked on the public streets of the Commonwealth or is regularly garaged in the Commonwealth shall, regardless of its registration in another state, also be registered in Virginia.
