Summary

Local subdivision roads. Provides that no street or road or any portion thereof in any county shall be taken into the state secondary highway system for maintenance purposes unless it is classified by the Department as a local collector road. Other roads that, prior to July 1, 2007, would have been taken into the state secondary highway system shall be classified by the Department as local subdivision roads and shall not be taken into the state secondary highway system. A local subdivision road shall be any road, according to the Department, that primarily serves residents living within a subdivision.
