HJ983: Commending David McDaniel.
WHEREAS, David McDaniel served as a member of the Glasgow Town Council from July 1, 2002, to June 30, 2006; and
WHEREAS, elected by his fellow citizens of Glasgow, David McDaniel was an active and enthusiastic member of the Town Council during his term of service; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure, David McDaniel also served as a member of the Water and Sewer Committee; and
WHEREAS, David McDaniel is a respected member of the business community and has brought considerable knowledge and expertise to the Glasgow Town Council; and
WHEREAS, a hard-working councilman, David McDaniel served the citizens of the Town of Glasgow with distinction, dedication, integrity, and commitment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend David McCormick for his meritorious service to the Glasgow Town Council; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to David McDaniel as an expression the General Assembly's appreciation for his commitment to the citizens of Glasgow.
