Summary
Virginia Personnel Act; personnel administration; preference for veterans for employment with the Commonwealth. Provides a veteran who applies for employment with the Commonwealth a preference during the selection process, if the veteran has received (i) an honorable discharge and served more than 180 consecutive days of full-time active duty in the armed forces of the United States or reserve components thereof, including the National Guard, or (ii) has a service-connected disability rating.
