Summary
Charter; City of Virginia Beach. Allows the city to
establish a photo-monitoring system to enforce traffic light signals at no more
than 25 intersections at one time. Provisions within the bill set the maximum
fine, limit the use and retention of images recorded, and provide other
parameters and limitations. Also, authority is granted related to screening of
certain abandoned property and changes are made to reflect the city's recent
decision to hold local elections in November rather than May.
