RESOLVED by the Senate, That the following person is hereby nominated to be elected to the Supreme Court of Virginia as follows:

The Honorable Lawrence L. Koontz Jr., of Salem, as a justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia for a term of twelve years commencing August 16, 2007.
