Description
Public schools; grade placement test. Requires the Board of Education to develop or approve a standardized test to be used to determine the appropriate grade placement for a student transferring from a private school to a public school. Amends § 22.1-19 (“Accreditation of elementary, middle, and high schools; nursery schools; recognition of certain organizations; child day center regulation.”), of the Code of Virginia.
