HB1216: Planning time for school teachers.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 22.1-291.1 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 22.1-291.1. Planning time for school teachers.
Each school board shall seek to
ensure that all elementary school teachers in its
employment are provided at least three hours during the students' school week
as unencumbered, self-directed planning
time.
